FAQ
The cost of the trip includes top of the line tackle, fresh/live bait, and jigs/plugs. More importantly, it always includes 100% effort by your captain and crew. I want my clients to have the best experience possible. You will never be taken for a “boat ride” on the Speedy Marie. Offshore trips and some of the inshore trips require a mate. My mates are professionals and good at what they do. It is customary to tip a mate 15-20% of the cost of the trip.
All charters require a 20% deposit. There is no deposit required for open boat prime-tide fluke trips, but it is necessary that you confirm your spot prior to the trip.
I you need to cancel or postpone your trip up to 7 days prior to your trip, it will be scheduled for the next mutually available date. Deposits are non-refundable within 7 days of your trip.
Cancellations due to weather are up to the captain and if another date cannot be accommodated you will get your refund back in full.
We accept cash, Visa, Discover, Mastercard, Zelle and Venmo.
Of course! I am a big believer in children participating in recreational outdoor activities. Discretion should be used for all ocean charters, especially Tuna and Shark. It is better to introduce children to fishing on an inshore trip.
A few beers are fine. Hard alcohol and intoxication are not permitted. I will not hesitate to end a trip early and return to the dock if anyone in your charter is unable to control themselves.
I will update you prior to the trip to discuss weather and appropriate clothes to wear/bring.
Within 200 ft of the Speedy Marie are bathrooms, a concession stand, a restaurant, and an outside bar playing live music on the weekends.
